About
I am a University of Connecticut alumna that graduated in 2022 with my Bachelors degree in Kinesiology. During my time at UConn, I had the opportunity to work alongside Dr. Colón-Semenza on her study related to Physical Activity in the Management of Parkinson’s Disease. Through this study, I gained valuable insight on the benefits of exercise for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease.
This opportunity along with other experiences allowed me to witness the transformational impacts of physical therapy and ultimately, reinforced my decision to pursue a career in this field. Currently, I am a student in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at Franklin Pierce University. As a future PT, I will strive to help my patients recover and improve their quality of life.
